Global 1. What is SlideBurner? SlideBurner is a place to share and discover slideshows. You can comment and tag them. You can also embed them in your blog or personal site. File upload 2. What kind of files can I upload? You can upload Powerpoint (PPT, PPS, POT extension), OpenOffice (ODP extension) and PDF files (PDF extension). 3. What is the maximum size of a file? Currently you can upload file with a maximum size of 20MB. 4. What is the maximum storage capacity? With a free account you have a storage capacity of 200MB.
You can subscribe to a premimum account in order to have more space. 5. How long it takes to upload a file? It depends on 3 factors: the file size, your internet connection speed and how busy our server is.
It may take serveral minutes to complete, so thanks to be patient. File conversion 6. My file is displayed as error. What happens? An error occured during the conversion of your file. It could occurs because you upload a wrong file. See the file which are supported above.
I you think that this file should be converted correctly, send us a mail with your name and the title of the slideshow. 7. My fonts are different? If you are using special fonts in your presentation, they are going to be replaced during the process of conversion.
In order to avoid this kind of problem, use default fonts bundled with your operating system. 8. Are transition supported? Currently, transitions are not supported. If your slideshows contains transitions, they will be dropped during the conversion.
